"I've never enjoyed the gym and I don't think that'll change" 30th Birthday Gift Box
January is here, and many of us will have set resolutions we want to keep for the new year – be it going to the gym more often or vaping a lot less. But sticking to said resolutions isn't always easy, especially when a warm bed has more appeal than dragging yourself to the gym on a cold, wet morning, with a green smoothie in hand instead of a box of Quality Street and a glass of Baileys.
Thankfully, we're not alone in our struggles. In fact, former Love Island star Millie Court just took to Instagram to open up about her own battle to actually get to the gym. "Guys I really did NOT want to go the gym today," she said on her Story. "First session in a year but I pushed myself and I'm proud of myself for just taking that one little step to improving my health and my mind."
Millie continued: "I'm not a gym bunny and it's definitely not my main focus in improving myself, as I've never enjoyed the gym and I don't think that'll change." Hard relate!
Despite not being a big fan of the gym, the reality TV star went on to explain how she motivates herself when she really doesn't want to workout. "It's more so pushing myself in doing good things for me, like starting to eat cleaner and also starting therapy," she revealed, going on to say she'd started therapy just before Christmas.
"Cliché as it might sound, but I'm solely focusing on myself and my career as we've entered a new year and I can't wait to treat my body and mind the way it deserves," she told her fans. "Loving myself comes first!"
